Stop Running The Show

Feb 4 Proverbs 16:3

This verse is for the planners, the list-makers, the vision-board girlies who feel safest when everything is mapped out. Now, God isn’t anti-plans—He’s anti doing life without Him.

To commit your work to the Lord means more than a quick prayer before you start. It’s placing your goals, efforts, timelines, and expectations fully in His hands. It’s saying, “God, this matters to me, so I’m inviting You into it.” Not just asking Him to bless what you’ve already decided, but letting Him shape the plan from the beginning.

The promise is beautiful: when you surrender your work to God, He establishes your plans. That doesn’t mean everything will happen exactly the way you pictured. Sometimes God redirects. Sometimes He slows things down. Sometimes He changes the goal altogether. But nothing is wasted when it’s committed to Him.

So today’s reminder, girlie: plan with open hands. Dream big, work hard, but trust God enough to adjust the path. If He’s leading, you’re not behind. You’re right where you’re meant to be. He’s got you, girl.

Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
